KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: The Ministry of Electricity and Water said the Ministry of Communications has until date collected 250 thousand dinars since the launch of the service and establishing the link with the Ministry of Interior on September 6 last, through its office at the Kuwait International Airport T1, from residents and Gulf citizens reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The sources explained that the value of the proceeds during this limited period is a breakthrough for the Ministry, especially since this money had accumulated in the form of outstanding telephone bills over years that the Ministry provided to them.

The sources pointed out that the ministry’s office works 24 hours a day inside the airport, noting that the traveler can pay the bills through the “KNet” card to facilitate procedures for travelers.

The sources indicated that the Ministry is working to open similar offices in other airports soon to facilitate customers and not disrupt their travel plans.
