Missing Filipina domestic found

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: The Filipina domestic worker, who was reported as missing for 18 months, has been found, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior issued an explanatory statement concerning the rumors that were circulating on social media about her disappearance and her lack of communication with the Philippines Embassy and her relatives.

The department affirmed she was found by the Domestic Labor Department after carrying out an intensive search, and referred her to the Directorate General for Residency Affairs before she was handed over to a representative of the Philippines Embassy who will take her to General Department for Residency Investigations for interrogation.
