KUWAIT CITY, April 27: The Public Authority for Industry (PAI) issued an official warning to investors operating in Mirqab Area, specifically in Souk Al Safafeer. This measure is in line with efforts to maintain, develop and renovate the market. According to a statement released by PAI on Monday, several violations were uncovered, like the storage of prohibited materials, accumulation of debris and other infractions on shop rooftops, all of which contravene regulatory requirements. Shop owners were instructed to remove all non-compliant items and waste, and to regularize their premises within two weeks from the date of the issuance of the warning. PAI emphasized that failure to comply within the specified timeframe will result in enforcement action, whereby it will proceed to remove the violations at its discretion. In such instances, it will not bear any legal liability, and shop owners will lose entitlement to compensation once the deadline ends.
