KUWAIT CITY, June 12: The Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani reassured high school graduates that they will find seats for higher education according to the announced conditions and ratios, indicating that these could either be internally in Kuwait, Abdullah Al-Salem universities, and in colleges and institutes of Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) or through external scholarships, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Following an inspection tour of a number of schools to follow up the smooth conduct of the final exams for the 12th graders, which started on Sunday, Dr. Al-Adwani explained that higher education institutions have prepared a plan to absorb the graduates of the public secondary schools so that all graduates who achieve the previously approved acceptance rates are absorbed, in addition to internal and external scholarship plans.

Students who wish to study abroad at their own expense must choose institutions and universities that meet the requirements of quality education and stay away from some institutions that do not provide education that commensurate with the certificates they grant because “their certificates will not be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.” On Saturday, the Ministry of Higher Education announced the opening of registration from June 10 to July 2 for the scholarship plan of the 2023/2024 academic year through the website designated for that purpose.
