Minister Al-Faris initials contract for urgent maintenance works of roads

KUWAIT CITY, July 11: Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Dr Rana Al-Faris signed a contract for urgent, emergency and miscellaneous maintenance works for roads in Farwaniya Governorate, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources said the duration of this contract is 730 days for urgent works; minor construction and supplementary works for asphalt, tiles or kerbstone; repair of defects in the surface of the asphalt, including potholes, landslides, corrosion, cracks, water pools; repairing fractures in all types of manholes including that of other service ministries or re-establishing them; and adjusting the level or replacing defects in tiles, fallen or broken kerbstone.
