Mini Goal extravaganza: Palestine Cup debuts in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Hassan Al-Khawaja, the head of the “Mini Goal” game committee under the Kuwait Olympic Committee, has officially declared the inaugural Palestine Cup championship. The event is scheduled to take place from the 14th to the 17th of this month, featuring competitions in both adult and children’s categories at the late Samir Saeed Stadium, located at the headquarters of the Social Cultural Committee in Maidan Hawalli, Kuwait. Sixteen teams will compete in the adult category, while eight teams will vie for victory in the children’s category.

Al-Khawaja expressed the overwhelming official, popular, and sporting support for this pioneering tournament, marking its inaugural edition.In terms of rewards, the top-performing team in the adult category will be awarded 600 dinars for the first place, 300 dinars for the second place, and 100 dinars for the third place. Similarly, in the children’s category (under 11 and 13 years old), the first-place holder will receive 300 dinars, and the second-place team will be rewarded with 100 dinars.
