KUWAIT CITY, Mar 24: In a surprise inspection campaign the Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan ordered to close a factory which was dealing in antiseptic and sterilization liquids in violation of the conditions of manufacturing and withdrawing its license and referred it to the Public Prosecution.

Al-Roudan also instructed to take appropriate measures to remove all workers at the factory.

In the meantime, a dialogue took place between Minister Al-Roudhan and the violating factory owner, where the minister pointed out that the material seized at the factory is not as per the specification and is not commercially known which means that the factory is conducting commercial fraud and selling the product in the market without proper specification of the product.

Al-Roudhan told the factory owner in an angry tone that you are not with us you are poisoning us.

“We will not allow anyone to exploit this circumstance for profit or fraud, to protect consumers and their safety is our responsibility and I swear to God, do not underestimate us and it is unfortunate that this is the second factory and exemplary message must be delivered” the minister added.
