Midday Work Ban: 33 Violations Found in June Inspections

KUWAIT CITY, July 6: Official statistics released by the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) revealed that inspection teams conducted tours at 60 different locations in the month of June, and detected several violations of the decision that bans workers from working outdoors in open areas during midday hours. According to the statistics, 33 workers were detained at various sites for violating the ban on outdoor work during peak hours.

A total of 30 companies were identified as first-time violators, while another 30 companies that had previously breached the rules successfully met compliance requirements during re-inspections. Follow-up inspections at these sites revealed no further violations, highlighting the effectiveness of the corrective actions taken. Furthermore, authorities received 12 reports from citizens and residents concerning violations related to worker employment during restricted hours. These reports played a crucial role in detecting and addressing several violations on the ground.

Citizens and Residents are urged to continue cooperating by reporting any breaches of the midday work ban which is in effect daily from 11 am to 4 pm by contacting its WhatsApp service (61922493)
