Mid-air brawl erupts on Biman Bangladesh flight from London, video goes viral

LONDON, Sep 17: A mid-air fight between two male passengers aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from London to Bangladesh has sparked concern after footage of the confrontation went viral on social media.

The video shows the two men engaged in a heated argument before the dispute escalates into a physical fight, with the passengers exchanging blows inside the aircraft. During the scuffle, one man’s T-shirt is reportedly torn as the confrontation intensifies, according to FL360aero.

The disturbance caused alarm among other passengers, including children and elderly travellers, as the fight unfolded during the flight. Cabin crew members and fellow passengers eventually intervened and managed to separate the two men.

The circumstances that triggered the confrontation and whether any action was taken against the passengers remain unclear.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Mahbubuddin Ahmed told Dhaka Tribune that he was unaware of the incident when contacted.

“I am not aware of the matter yet. I am looking into it,” he said.

The airline has yet to publicly provide further details about the incident or confirm whether an investigation has been launched.
