LOS ANGELES, Jan 23, (Agencies): Michael Phelps and his wife, Nicole, have just expanded their relay team! This Monday, the 38-year-old professional swimmer and former Miss California took to Instagram to share the joyous news of their newest family member – a baby boy.
The 28-time Olympic medalist expressed his excitement, saying, "@mrs.nicolephelps and I want to welcome Nico Michael Phelps to the world. Born on 1/16. We feel incredibly blessed to welcome our fourth child. Our family is now complete with 6 members!"
Nico is now part of the Phelps crew, joining his older brothers Boomer, 7, Beckett, 5, and Maverick, 4.
The couple initially revealed their plans to expand their family back in October when Nicole posted anniversary photos showcasing her growing bump. The Phelps family is now celebrating the arrival of their newest member, and the parents couldn't be prouder.
