MEW takes lead with five as CAPT floats 26 tenders in Nov

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: In November, the Central Agency for Public Tenders floated a total of 26 tenders to various government entities. Notable tenders include the Ministry of Electricity and Water taking the lead with five tenders, followed by the Ministry of Health with four, the Ministry of Education with three, the Public Authority for Industry with two, and the Public Authority for People with Disabilities also two tenders.

The Ministry of Justice secured the first tender, valued at two thousand dinars, for the supply, installation, operation, maintenance, and licensing of Mimix application software. The second tender, concerning the rental of service vehicles for the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the third tender, related to providing meals for Kuwait University students, amounted to 45 thousand dinars and were valued at 62 thousand dinars, respectively.

The Ministry of Education secured two more tenders, the fourth and fifth, for maintenance, restoration, and construction work in the Farwaniya and Al-Ahmadi Educational Districts, each with insurance values of 62 thousand and 45 thousand dinars, respectively. Other notable tenders included the sixth, issued for the Ministry of Public Works to purchase AUTODESK programs, and the seventh, for the Kuwait Oil Company, focusing on fencing and security systems in Jaber Al-Ahmad and Subbiya.

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy also secured the eighth tender for the annual maintenance of cranes and handling tools, valued at 62 thousand dinars. Further tenders covered diverse areas, including consulting services for the Naayem Industrial City, operation and maintenance of engineering services in Jahra Hospital, and projects for the Kuwait National Petroleum Company and the General Authority for Persons with Disabilities. The Central Agency for Public Tenders plays a vital role in overseeing the issuance, evaluation, and management of public tenders across government agencies, ensuring adherence to legal procedures and promoting transparency in the contracting process.
