Meteorology Warns of Strong Winds and Poor Visibility

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: The Meteorology Department has issued a warning of strong northwesterly winds, with speeds exceeding 60 km/h, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility of less than 1,000 meters in some areas.

The department also cautioned that the strong winds are expected to generate high sea waves reaching more than six feet.

The warning will remain in effect from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
