Meteorology Department warns of reduced visibility due to fog at night

The Meteorology Department warns of fog reducing visibility to less than 1,000 meters in some areas tonight.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: The Meteorology Department has issued a warning of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog during the night, with visibility expected to drop to less than 1,000 meters in some areas.

In a weather alert, the department stated that the advisory will be in effect for eight hours, from midnight until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow.

According to the Meteorology Department, daytime weather is expected to be cool and partly cloudy, with variable to southeasterly winds at light to moderate speeds of 6 to 32 kilometers per hour, and a chance of scattered rain.

At night, conditions will turn cold and partly cloudy, with light to moderate southeasterly to variable winds ranging from 6 to 26 kilometers per hour, along with a chance of scattered light rain and fog in some areas.
