Meteorology Department Predicts Showers, Thunderstorms, and Active Winds Across Kuwait Through Midweek

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: The Kuwait Meteorological Department has forecast scattered rain and thunderstorms across the country, beginning Sunday evening and continuing intermittently through late Monday night.

Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that weather maps show an increase in low and medium-level clouds, with cumulonimbus clouds appearing in some areas. Rainfall may be accompanied by thunderstorms, particularly in localized regions.

The Meteorological Department indicated that after Monday night, weather conditions will improve slightly, but rain and thunderstorms are expected to return on Tuesday morning and continue through Thursday evening, with heavy downpours likely at times.

Following Thursday, conditions are forecast to gradually improve, with a decreased chance of rain. Active winds may create occasional high waves, and fog is possible in some areas. Residents are advised to monitor weather updates and take precautions during periods of heavy rain and strong winds.(KUNA)
