KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Bahraini coach Adnan Al-Alawi recently arrived in the country to commence training the riders at Messila Equestrian Club in the upcoming period.

The club's management, under the leadership of Badr Tariq Al-Mailem, finalized the contract with Coach Al-Alawi after negotiations that began in May. He officially assumed his duties , conducting the team's inaugural training session, which saw the participation of over 15 male and female riders.

In his initial statement to the press within the confines of Messila Club, Bahraini coach Adnan Al-Alawi shared his journey, noting that he moved to the Republic of Germany in 2014 and established an equestrian training center nine years ago. He expressed his aspirations to foster a partnership between Messila Club and the equestrian center in Germany.

Al-Alawi remarked, "I have a prior connection with Kuwait and Kuwaiti equestrianism. I visited Kuwait four years ago, attended various tournaments, and observed the growing camaraderie between Bahrain and Kuwait in the realm of equestrian sports."

Bahraini coach Adnan Al-Alawi harbors the ambition of qualifying one or even two riders from Messila Club to represent the Kuwaiti national team in regional championships. He underlined that Messila Club aims to become a formidable competitor among other clubs, with the overarching goal of elevating the technical standards of Kuwaiti equestrian sports.
