LOS ANGELES, Oct 21, (Agencies): Meryl Streep and her husband, Don Gummer, have decided to separate after an incredible 45-year marriage. The renowned three-time Oscar winner, at the age of 74, and her husband, 76, discreetly transitioned their romantic relationship into a new phase six years ago.

A representative for Streep shared, "Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been living separate lives for over 6 years. While they will always hold deep care for each other, they have chosen different paths."

Despite their separation, there have been moments that suggest the enduring bond between them. Notably, Streep was spotted wearing her wedding band as recently as Friday during the 2023 Princesa de Asturias Awards in Spain. Their remarkable journey together was marked by a special milestone as they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Sept 30.

Throughout their marriage, Streep and Gummer have raised four children together, including their son Henry and daughters Mamie, Grace, and Louisa.
