KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: The Meteorological Department expects the weather throughout the country this weekend to be extremely hot during the day and hot to relatively warm at night, with humid to relatively humid conditions, particularly in coastal areas. Acting Director of the Meteorological Department Dhirar Al- Ali told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that weather maps and numerical models indicate that the country will be affected by an extension of the seasonal Indian low-pressure system, accompanied by a relatively hot and humid air mass. Winds will be northwesterly to southeasterly, light to moderate in speed, and occasionally variable and light. On Friday, the weather will be extremely hot and humid, particularly in coastal areas.

Winds will be variable to southeasterly, light to moderate at speeds of 8 to 32 kilometers per hour, with some high clouds. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius, while the sea will be light to moderate, with waves of one to four feet. Friday night will be hot to relatively warm and relatively humid, particularly in coastal areas. Winds will be southeasterly to variable, light to moderate at speeds of 6 to 28 kilometers per hour, with a chance of light fog forming over coastal areas. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius, while the sea will be light to moderate, with waves of one to three feet. Saturday’s weather will be extremely hot and relatively humid, particularly in coastal areas.

Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 45 and 47 degrees Celsius, while the sea will be light to moderate, with waves of one to four feet. Saturday night will be hot to relatively warm and relatively humid in coastal areas. Winds will be variable, shifting to northwesterly, light to moderate at speeds of 6 to 30 kilometers per hour, with some high clouds. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius, while the sea will be light to moderate, with waves of one to four feet.(KUNA)
