WASHINGTON, Apr 9: First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday firmly denied any association with Jeffrey Epstein or knowledge of his crimes, dismissing reports linking her to the late financier as “completely false” and defamatory.

In a strongly worded statement delivered at the White House, Melania Trump said the allegations were baseless and accused critics of attempting to damage her reputation. “The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” she said, adding that those spreading such claims lack “ethical standards, humility and respect.”

She emphasized that she had no connection to Epstein and noted that legal steps have already been taken to counter what she described as unfounded accusations. “My attorneys and I have fought these baseless lies with success,” she stated.

In addition, the First Lady called on the US Congress to hold public hearings focused on survivors of Epstein’s crimes, urging lawmakers to provide victims with a platform to testify and ensure their accounts are formally recorded.

Melanie Trump "To be clear, I never had relations with Epstein or his accomplice Maxwell." "I never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time." "Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance."
