Call to address vital needs of Kuwaitis and expats

KUWAIT CITY, June 25: The Farwaniya Governorate Council on Wednesday held its fourth meeting at the headquarters of the governorate, presided over by Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al- Athbi Al-Sabah who also serves as Chairman of the council. The meeting tackled several items in the agenda, with council members representing various government agencies, appointed members, and the secretary of the council in attendance.

During the meeting, the Governor underscored the importance of strengthening coordination among relevant entities to support development initiatives and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents throughout the governorate. The council reviewed reports and topics about services and development, followed up the implementation of recommendations issued in previous meetings, and discussed the most pressing needs and concerns of residents in order to address them in coordination with the competent authorities. The Governor praised the efforts of the council members and its committees, while expressing his appreciation for the cooperation and support provided by government institutions in realizing the objectives of the council and in better serving the community.
