KUWAIT CITY, April 29: While the country – Ministry of Health and state ministries – is taking all restrictive measures to prevent the transmission and the spread of ‘Covid- 19’ virus, in line with the guidelines issued by the World Health Organization, primary health care centers do just the opposite and serve as the foci of transmission of the virus by allowing crowding inside the facilities in the early hours of the morning without following the lowest levels of care and caution, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Yesterday, the daily saw a crowd of people immediately after the curfew hours ended. The crowds of people were seen in West Hawally and Farwaniya medical centers where patients rushed for medical examination and to collect medicines for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases and others with least regard to global and local guidelines to prevent the spread of virus which is done by social distancing, wearing masks and gloves as recommended by the Ministry of Health in such exceptional circumstances
