Meat Lovers in Farwaniya, Know What You’re Eating: 88kg of Meat of Unknown Origin Destroyed

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Kuwait’s General Authority for Food and Nutrition has destroyed 88 kilograms of meat of unknown origin following an inspection campaign targeting food establishments in Farwaniyah Governorate.

The Authority said its inspection department recorded 10 violation reports, including the trading of adulterated food products, sleeping or staying overnight inside the establishment without authorization, and failure to comply with general hygiene requirements.

The Authority confirmed that legal action would be taken against violators as part of its ongoing inspection campaigns to enforce health and food safety standards and protect consumers.
