Mazda Kuwait sales up 20% in Q1 2016 – All-new MX5 arrives in Kuwait showrooms

KUWAIT CITY, May 10: Kuwait Automotive Imports Co WLL (KAICO)- Al Shaya and Al Sagar, the exclusive distributor for Mazda vehicles in the Kuwait since 1969, announced its great sales achievements with nearly 20% increase in new car sales during the first 3 months of 2016 compared to last year.

Mazda’s growth has been powered by a new range of 6th generation products. The Mazda2 +225%, Mazda3 +142%, MazdaCX5 +267%, MazdaCX9 + 138% and BT 50Pro +214% have recorded strong sales.

Ashish Tandon, General Manager, KAICO stated: we are very proud of our results, and would like to thank the Mazda Team who have worked very hard and have exerted great efforts. He also said, “We are on track to increase our market share and volume in 2016 with the positive momentum at the beginning of the year”.

Mazda’s design philosophy is built on four pillars – KODO design, Jinba Ittai (Driving Experience), Skyactiv (Engine, transmission and frame) and class leading Safety features.

The all-new Mazda MX5 has just arrived into our showrooms, also known as Miata Roadster winner of two prestigious awards- World Car of the Year 2016 and World Car Design of the Year Award in USA. It is for the first time in the history of the award that both awards have been won by a single car. The new MX5 is also winner of the 10 best cars 2016 – Car & driver.
