LOS ANGELES, May 12: Maya Rudolph returned as the host of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, showcasing her talent for impersonating Queen Beyoncé in a sketch that delighted audiences. In the skit, Rudolph portrayed the multi-Grammy Award-winning artist during her appearance on the popular YouTube chat series Hot Ones, where celebrities eat spicy hot wings while being interviewed.

Sporting her best “Texas Hold Em” ensemble, Rudolph dove into the spicy challenge with enthusiasm, exclaiming, “Giddy up, let’s go,” to host Sean Evans (played by Mikey Day). Despite her initial confidence, Rudolph quickly felt the heat after sampling some of the spiciest sauces on the show. With her eyes watering and her face contorted, she humorously declared, “This wing is stomping my ass.”

Seeking relief from the fiery sensation, Rudolph’s character called upon her assistant, played by Kenan Thompson, who hilariously appeared dressed in a flamboyant outfit complete with bouncy curls. As Rudolph struggled with the heat, her assistant comically researched whether it was possible to replace her bones due to their overwhelming spiciness.

The sketch reached its comedic climax when Rudolph, still in character as Beyoncé, demanded her assistant fetch her expensive cocoa butter and aloe lotion to soothe the burning sensation. As the skit came to a close, Rudolph’s portrayal of Beyoncé demonstrated her comedic prowess and ability to entertain audiences with her spot-on impersonation.
