Massive Security Campaign in Khairan Nets Drugs, Wanted Vehicles, and Residency Violators

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: In a concerted effort to strengthen public safety and ensure traffic discipline, the General Directorate of Emergency Police carried out an extensive security and traffic campaign on Friday, October 10, 2025, in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Maritime Area (Al-Khairan). The operation was led by Brigadier Hemlan Hadhiri Al-Hemlan, Assistant Director General of the Emergency Police, with the active participation of all field departments.

The large-scale campaign aimed to curb illegal activities, apprehend violators, and promote a secure environment for residents and visitors in the popular coastal area.

According to official reports, the campaign led to several significant results, including:

  • 2 cases involving the seizure of narcotic substances
  • 12 wanted vehicles located
  • 1 vehicle impounded
  • 1 stolen motorcycle recovered
  • 6 violators arrested for expired residency permits
  • 5 cases of apprehension for various offenses
  • 9 individuals reported absent from their employers
  • 7 individuals detained for lack of identification
  • 349 various traffic violations recorded

The General Directorate of Emergency Police emphasized that such campaigns will continue across different regions of the country as part of its ongoing mission to uphold security, enforce the law, and maintain public order.
