KUWAIT CITY, May 22: As part of its ongoing security efforts to apprehend law violators and enforce regulations, the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations has continued its intensive inspection campaigns across various governorates. These operations, carried out in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower, Kuwait Municipality, and Kuwait Fire Force, specifically targeted industrial areas such as Shuwaikh Industrial, Amghara, and Na'ayem Scrap.
Between May 11 and May 18, 2025, the campaigns led to the arrest of 823 individuals for violating residence and labor laws. The inspections covered multiple non-compliant sites and facilities, and legal actions were taken against the violators in cooperation with the Public Authority for Manpower’s shelter centers.
Additionally, during the same period, 1,084 violators were deported from the country after completing all required legal procedures, in coordination with the Deportation and Detention Affairs Department.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized that these intensive campaigns will continue, reaffirming its commitment to hold accountable all individuals who violate residency and labor regulations, including both workers and employers.
