“Masked Man” mystery theft solved on arrest of a Pakistani expat

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The Criminal Investigation Administration were able to close at least 6 cases related to “mask man” theft in soukh after arresting a Pakistani expat.

Three days ago in market KD 3,600 was stolen from a cashier. The accused had entered Kuwait two years ago by sneaking into a truck and was staying in Fahaheel area.

The accused confessed to having committed many thefts and also admitted that he sends part of these funds through people to his family in Pakistan. The items and description used in crime matched with the Pakistani as it was proved with certainty that the accused was himself the masked thief.

The description of accused wearing mask and gloves with big built was circulated in the soukh to which he was caught as mask he was using to steal was found in his room and upon re-interrogation he admitted of committing 6 robberies and also surprised the investigators by informing them he sneaked into Kuwait through a truck.
