LOS ANGELES, Nov 26, (Agencies): Mark Wahlberg's daughter is aiming high with her aspirations. In a recent interview, the 52-year-old actor, known for his role in "The Family Plan," opened up about his 13-year-old daughter Grace's passion for horses and her ambitious goal in the equestrian world.
Surprisingly, Wahlberg revealed that Grace possesses a level of discipline that even surpassed his own at a young age. He shared, "My daughter, believe it or not, is more disciplined than me. I didn't adopt that kind of discipline until I was in my 30s, and I had to do it because of work." He went on to express her independent commitment, stating, "And now, she does it on her own because she wants to be an Olympian."
Wahlberg's comments coincide with the couple's active sharing of their daughter's equestrian journey on social media. Recently, they celebrated Grace's achievements at a national event, with Rhea Durham, Wahlberg's wife, proudly writing on Instagram, "Last day of showing at the Nationals. So proud of you Grace and Bernadette! You guys went double clear in the children’s mini Grand Prix today, and dad and I almost threw up but we made it through."
The actor and his wife consistently showcase their support for Grace, posting clips and photos of her riding over the past months. From documenting her accomplishments at events to arranging a custom horse cake for her birthday in January, the couple is actively involved in nurturing their daughter's passion.
In addition to Grace, Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham are parents to sons Brendan (15) and Michael (17), along with daughter Ella (20).
