Man who ‘jumped’ from Jaber Bridge rescued by firemen

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) reported one person jumped from the Jaber Bridge into the sea, with apparent suicidal intent, and was rescued by firefighters on Friday morning.

Upon receiving the report, the Central Operations Department dispatched firefighting teams from the Shuwaikh Fire and Marine Rescue Center to the scene and found the individual who had fallen from the Jaber Bridge, though it remained unclear whether the act was deliberate or accidental.

The man in question was found clinging to the concrete structure when assistance arrived. He was rescued and subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities for interrogation.
