KUWAIT CITY, April 4: The Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) revealed that the field teams tasked to inspect charitable activities conducted 452 field visits to mosques and 79 visits to the headquarters of charitable societies during which they monitored 31 donation collection kiosks, reports Al-Anba daily. Clothes were removed from 21 stalls and 22 violations were recorded against a restaurant asking for donations for breaking of fast meals and a commercial company that did the same through social media. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry was informed about these violations.

In addition, 99 advertisements for charities, organizations and other parties that did not comply with advertising regulations were uncovered and the concerned charities were advised to avoid committing such violations. The teams recorded 35 violations in mosques; such as the display of advertisements for collecting donations for breaking the fast meals, implementing many charitable projects, and failure to follow the schedule of Imams and the schedule for distributing associations in mosques. The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs was informed about these violations.
