Makeshift markets flourish in Jleeb despite isolation

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 27: Despite of total isolation and the continuous security presence around the clock in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, makeshift markets are still being found in some internal streets and there is a noticeable crowd especially before the prayer.

During the tour in the region it was easy to spot despite of intense security presence as the charity authorities worked to distribute bread and foodstuffs in the region.

Commenting on the random markets sources stated that these markets are hotspots for coronaviur and due to overcrowding and neglecting preventive health measures it is necessary to implement campaigns on them and investigate to find out how this expats gets the goods and food to sell outdoors.

The sources pointed out that many unknown goods are sold in these markets which is become necessary to take measures to prevent this phenomenon and work to cleanup the region until the isolation achieves its desired goals.
