Major security campaign in Kuwait's Saad Al-Abdullah nets 151 violators

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: A large-scale security campaign in Saad Al-Abdullah resulted in the arrest of dozens of violators and wanted individuals, as authorities stepped up security deployment and enforcement efforts in the area.

The campaign was carried out by the Security Directorates Affairs Sector, represented by the Jahra Governorate Security Directorate, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce the law and maintain security and public order.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the campaign resulted in:

  • 61 traffic violations issued
  • 43 individuals arrested for being without identification
  • 20 wanted individuals arrested on arrest warrants
  • 12 residency violators apprehended
  • 5 street vendors arrested
  • 3 mobile vending carts and grocery stores seized
  • 2 alcohol-related cases recorded
  • 2 vehicles seized for judicial impoundment
  • 1 person arrested in possession of narcotics
  • 1 person arrested over a debt-related case
  • 1 person apprehended in connection with a criminal case

The authorities said the necessary legal and administrative procedures were taken against those arrested and the violators, with each case referred to the relevant authority according to jurisdiction.

The campaign forms part of the Ministry of Interior's continued security operations aimed at strengthening field presence, enforcing regulations and maintaining public order.
