Main power stations in Mutla’a, South Abdullah Al-Mubarak ‘ready’ Feb 2021

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: According to informed sources from the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), the process of receiving the main electricity stations in Al- Mutlaa and South Abdullah Al-Mubarak areas will end in February 2021, reports Al-Qabas daily.

They said, “The Public Authority for Housing Welfare addressed Kuwait Municipality recently regarding the completion of road works and infrastructure services in the South Abdullah Al-Mubarak project, and the first phase of Al- Mutlaa Residential City, and the initial handover of the works from contractors. The number of power stations to be implemented is 26 of which 22 stations are in Al-Mutlaa and four in South Abdullah Al-Mubarak. The installation of cables and transformer substation equipment will be completed in conjunction with the construction of plots allocated to them. This is aimed to protect these works from damage and theft, as well as to protect public funds, similar to what was done in all the projects that PAHW undertook to implement.”

Meanwhile, Kuwait Municipality recently addressed the Ministry of Public Works for information about the possibility of delivering all services to the residential plots in South Abdullah Al- Mubarak and Al-Mutlaa areas in case their construction is permitted.

Furthermore, the State Minister for Housing Affairs and the State Minister for Services Affairs Dr. Abdullah Marafie recently carried out an inspection visit to the Al-Mutlaa City Residential project, in the presence of the Director General of PAHW Eng. Bader Al-Waqyan and a number of senior officials. In a press statement, PAHW said, “The field visit was carried out based on the keenness to inspect the work at the sites, and ensure the progress of work is ongoing as agreed upon with the project implementers, and their commitment to the schedule”. It explained that minister Dr. Marafie met with representatives of the companies that are implementing the contracts of the Al-Mutlaa Residential City.
