KUWAIT CITY, May 9: A Kuwaiti woman accused her Filipina housemaid of stealing five wristwatches worth KD 2,500, her mobile phone, civil ID, passport and KD 900 case from her house in South Surra area. According to security sources, the woman went to the police station of the area and informed securitymen that she had looked for her housemaid throughout her house but did not find her. When she checked her valuables and money she kept at her house, she discovered that the abovementioned items were missing. A case was filed against the housemaid, and investigations have been launched to find and arrest her. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen reported at Rumaithiya Police Station that his vehicle of European-make, which was parked in front of his house in the area, was stolen. He provided securitymen with the description of his vehicle, which was circulated to all patrol teams. Meanwhile, customs officers have arrested an unidentified Asian passenger coming from an Arab country for allegedly attempting to smuggle 6,000 drug pills into the country, reports Al-Shahed daily.
