KUWAIT CITY, March 4: Actress Mai Al-Balushi continues to film the remaining part of her scenes of the heritage drama series ‘Mohamed Ali Road’, written by Mohamed Anwar, directed by Manaf Abdel and produced by Abdullah Bushehri.

Al-Balushi told the daily she plays the character of Badriya (Umm Hussein), the simple woman who does the impossible to take care of her two sons, Hussein and Abdullah. Al-Balushi went on to say, “This is the first time that I have participated in a heritage series since I entered the world of art world, and I am happy with this experience that brought me together with a team of more than wonderful people, be it the director, assistant director, writer, producer and others and, God willing, the fruits of this cooperation will be enjoyed by the viewers. She added: “Everyone in this series is equally important and there is nothing like absolutely or main character and this is the characteristics of the writer Mohamed Anwar.

The cast of the ‘Mohamed Ali Road’ includes elite stars such as Saad Al- Faraj, Mohammed Al-Mansour, Haifa Adel, Fatima Al-Hosni, Samira Al- Wahaibi, Buthaina Al-Raisi, Hussein Al-Mahdi, Abdullah Bahman, Saouda, Hessa Al-Nabhan, Mashari Al-Mujibel, Mona Hussein and other young stars.
