Maersk Shipping cautious on Hormuz transit

COPENHAGEN, April 8: Danish shipping giant Maersk said it is “working with urgency” to assess the safety of commercial passage through the Strait of Hormuz, warning that while a ceasefire may create opportunities, it does not yet guarantee secure transit. The company said any decision to resume shipping would depend on ongoing risk assessments and guidance from authorities.
