Area 19 Annual Speech Contest on Feb 12

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: When such an event as the Annual Speech Club Contest of MaceSprings Toastmasters Club takes place, the quotes on teamwork, professionalism, perfection etc. are one too many. On Jan 15, 2021, from 3pm onwards, when most tend to enjoy their afternoon nap, the Toastmasters Fraternity in and outside Kuwait, were wide awake and excited to be in front of their computer screens as they didn’t want to miss the opportunity to witness the much awaited ‘Battle of the Titans’ the annual speech contest of MaceSprings Toastmasters Club, to be held for the first time virtually.

The members who fondly call themselves the Maceans were all excited to cheer their fellow members who were all set to compete with all zeal, fun and enthusiasm. The contestants TM Rahul Dinodia, TM Tabassum Ali, DTM Alka Kumra,TM Kapil Kumra,TM Murugaiyan Subbaraylu,TM Elena Rezuchova and TM Srinivasan Gandhi proved it with their terrific performances that they were powerful,unique and gifted in their own way. To ensure the contest flows smoothly and efficiently, a bunch of talented toastmasters from various renowned Clubs in Kuwait stole the show by their meticulous planning, organization and leadership skills.

The powerful team for the contest starting from the chief judge and his panel of judges, the contest chairs and the role players made this contest one of the most memorable, superb, scintillating and superlative online club contests witnessed so far that the audiences will cherish and reminiscence for years to come.

Toastmasters is all about ‘empowering’ individuals in the art of public speaking, communication and leadership skills and this marvelous event proved, that a Toastmasters Club provides a supportive and positive learning environment wherein members are empowered to develop their communication and leadership skills that results in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
