KUWAIT CITY, July 1: As the 2025-2026 season concludes, Kuwaiti clubs have begun reshaping their technical staff in preparation for the new campaign, which is set to start at the end of August.

Tunisian coach  Nabil Maaloul has officially left Qadsia SC after guiding the team through the past season, during which he led it to the Super Cup title.

Qadsia management is now reviewing several coaching profiles to appoint a new head coach, with an announcement expected in the coming days. The club is preparing for its upcoming AFC Challenge League campaign, adding urgency to the decision.

Kuwait Club also confirmed the departure of Montenegrin coach Nebojša Jovović after two successful seasons, during which he helped the team secure multiple trophies.

Coaching changes continued across the league, with Tunisian coach Jamil Belqasem leaving Al-Nasr, where he has been replaced by Kuwaiti coach Zahir Al-Adwani. Al-Fahaheel also parted ways with Syrian coach Firas Al-Khatib after three seasons in charge.

Al-Fahaheel has since appointed Slovak coach Martin Ševela, who brings extensive experience from clubs including Al-Adalah, Al-Okhdood, and Abha in Saudi Arabia, as well as Slovan Bratislava, AS Trenčín, and Zagłębie Lubin.

Elsewhere, Kazma, Al-Salmiya, Al-Arabi, and Al-Jahra are set to retain their current coaches into the new season, while the situations at Al-Tadamon and Al-Shabab remain undecided.

In player movement, Al-Yarmouk announced the signing of Al-Arabi’s Abdulrahman Al-Sharhan and Kuwait Club’s Egyptian midfielder Ahmed Alaa as part of its squad reinforcement for the upcoming season
