MINSK, Jan 28, (Xinhua): Belarus plans to further strengthen its high-level strategic partnership with China, President Alexander Lukashenko said on Tuesday. Speaking at a meeting on bilateral cooperation, Lukashenko highlighted China's growing importance as a key pillar of Belarus's foreign and economic policy amid global geopolitical shifts.

"China is not only our most important partner, but also a major partner for all countries committed to development," Lukashenko said. China is now Belarus's second-largest trading partner, with exports to China surpassing those to the EU, Lukashenko said. He called for more proactive efforts to expand market access to China and attract more Chinese investment.

He also underscored progress at the China-Belarus Industrial Park, where dozens of Chinese companies have registered, and pledged swift implementation and acceleration of all announced projects.
