Long wait for ‘fingerprints’ under hot sun

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: A Kuwaiti citizen took a video of a number of expatriates waiting under the sun for completing their fingerprint transactions at the General Department for Criminal Evidences in Mishref area.

In the video clip, the citizen said many of the expatriates came to the office at 3 am to stand in the queue but were still unable to complete their transactions that day due to insufficient number of employees to conduct their transactions. He revealed that only one official was present to deal with such huge number of applicants, most of who were fasting. He urged Ministry of Interior to take necessary measures for facilitating the completion of these applicants’ transactions.
