KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: Kuwait’s Zakat House is placing the localization of charitable activities at the forefront of its agenda, Acting Director General Dr. Majed Al-Azmi said on Tuesday.

Al-Azmi told KUNA that the move aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035 and directives from the country’s political leadership.

Following a meeting with the Ministry of Social Affairs Undersecretary Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, Al-Azmi said discussions focused on boosting cooperation in social welfare funds and strengthening partnerships to support the most vulnerable groups.

He added that Zakat House remains committed to transparency and quality standards to safeguard the rights of beneficiaries, underscoring its role as a leading model for charitable work in Kuwait.
