ST. LOUIS, Sep 1:  Music legend Lionel Richie has been hospitalised after feeling dizzy following his concert in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday night.

The 77-year-old singer was taken to a local hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit as a precaution. Reports said doctors were examining him for possible mild dehydration and that he was expected to be discharged soon.

Richie appeared to struggle toward the end of the performance at the Muny in Forest Park, asking crew members to bring him a chair so he could sit during “All Night Long.” The hospitalisation comes about two months after he halted the opening show of his tour in Minnesota after feeling unwell. He later postponed two performances after reportedly falling ill.

Despite the recent health scares, Richie has since returned to the stage for several shows on his All Night Long Tour. Following his earlier illness, he reassured fans that he was doing well and thanked them for their support and well wishes.
