KUWAIT CITY, June 24: The Court of Appeals, headed by Judge Fahd Abu Salib, upheld the life imprisonment imposed by a lower court on an Imam for molesting an Egyptian child, reports Al-Qabas daily. Case files indicate that the accused -- an Imam in a mosque in Jahra -- was arrested when he tried to escape through the Salmi border. The child’s family reported the crime to the security men who immediately took the necessary action that led to the arrest of the accused.
