Licensing home gardens, changes of some decisions on co-ops’ proposals approved

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: The Technical Committee of the Municipal Council, during its meeting yesterday, approved the proposal of Dr Hassan Kamal, the issue of municipality’s licensing of home gardens, in addition to the approval of the proposal of member Muhammad Al-Raqib regarding the amendment of some decisions of the Municipal Council regarding cooperative societies, reports Al-Rai daily.

The committee also agreed to the request of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) to issue licenses for various activities at the Kuwaiti Farmers Union Center in the Abdali and Wafra areas, and to the suggestion of Hamoud Oqla to issue a license to establish a center for the disabled people inside investment buildings.

In the meantime, the committee has put on hold the request of member Ahmed Hadian for more discussion concerning mobile groceries about places to be allocated for them and decided to refer the Real Estate Union’s letter to the Reform and Development Committee regarding approval to give the right of management and maintenance to the private sector during the investment period for multi-storey car parks in various regions of Kuwait.
