KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17, (KUNA): Undersecretary of Commerce and Industry Ministry Khaled Al-Shimali has warned that the ministry would not condone any breach to real estate exhibitions’ regulations.

The ministry is monitoring the companies which market properties inside or outside Kuwait to make sure they abide by the relevant advertising and marketing regulations, he told reporters during the inauguration of the Elite Real Estate Exhibition, held on the International Fairground in Mishref during the period 17-20 October.

“Violators would face legal actions soon,” he warned. Al-Shimali noted that the presence of state bodies, especially ministries of commerce and justice, in real estate exhibitions help boost people confi - dence in the event and exhibitors.

The ministry of justice offers legal advice to visitors on the documents and procedures required to buy a real estate unit, he said. On the exhibition, Al-Shimali viewed that the event provides various investment opportunities inside and outside Kuwait.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Offi cer of Eskan Global Group, the organizer, Mahmoud Afi fi told KUNA that the participating companies are exhibiting 100 real estate projects around the world including in Kuwait. He added that his company has completed all required measures to organize the new edition of the exhibition to be held four times a year
