Legal action vowed for negligence

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12: The Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Adel Al-Mana affirmed that he will not be lenient in dealing with any shortcomings or negligence in the preparation for the academic year and the readiness of schools. He said, “We will conduct an evaluation of the performance of each party in all relevant sectors, and will not hesitate to take the necessary legal measures to hold those who are negligent accountable, in order to correct the situation and improve performance.”

In a press statement issued during his inspection tours of Jahra and Farwaniya schools yesterday, Dr. Al-Manea said, “All of us in the Ministry of Education bear a great responsibility towards educating students. We consider it a duty that cannot be neglected. “We must work with transparency, diligence, and dedication in order to achieve our desired goals in the field of educational development, and to overcome challenges with team spirit and cooperation to ensure the provision of a safe, highquality educational environment for all.” Dr. Al-Manea confirmed the continuation of his inspection tours of schools in all levels and educational zones before and after students start going to their schools next week, in order to determine the reality of the situation and ensure the availability of all necessary needs, monitor all challenges that may arise under any circumstances, and find appropriate solutions for them.
