LOS ANGELES, Oct 14, (Agencies): Travis Kelce's winning streak continues, and it seems even NBA superstar LeBron James has taken notice of the NFL star's rising popularity, especially in light of his relationship with singer Taylor Swift. During the Thursday Night Football clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, the 38-year-old James shared his thoughts on the 34-year-old Kelce while appearing on "The Shop".

Broadcaster Charissa Thompson playfully remarked, "LeBron, I never thought I'd see the day when you aren’t the most famous athlete from Northeast Ohio. How does it feel?" Amused by the question, the Lakers icon chuckled and replied, "Listen, sometimes you've gotta pass the torch to the next one."

In a gracious nod to Kelce and an acknowledgment of the immense influence of Taylor Swift's fans, known as Swifties, James continued, "What Trav is accomplishing right now, along with the Swifties, I think it's safe to say I'll hand over the crown to him at the moment. He's earned it."

It's worth noting that Kelce hails from Cleveland Heights, situated roughly an hour's drive from Akron, Ohio, which is LeBron James' hometown.
