Lebanon slams anti-Kuwait terror plot

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a telephone call Tuesday from Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, who expressed his vehement condemnation of a terrorist plot targeting the State of Kuwait. During the conversation, Premier Salam affirmed Lebanon’s unwavering solidarity with Kuwait, backing all measures taken to thwart plots aimed at undermining the country’s security and stability.

For his part, His Highness the Prime Minister expressed the State of Kuwait’s categorical denunciation of the ongoing violations and attacks by the Israeli occupation forces against Lebanese territories. His Highness emphasized that the Israeli occupation’s aggression constitutes a flagrant breach of international law, international humanitarian law, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions. He further reaffirmed Kuwait’s steadfast support for Lebanon in safeguarding its security, stability, and territorial sovereignty. His Highness the Prime Minister extended his profound appreciation to his Lebanese counterpart for his principled stance and for Lebanon’s continued support of Kuwait’s security and territorial integrity.
