KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: The Court of First Instance acquitted a female Lebanese expatriate, who is the general manager of a trading company, of alleged falsification of attendance in the minutes of the company’s general assembly, says Al-Seyassah.

The Public Prosecution charged the general manager with falsifying documents to create an impression that it was genuine, as well as of referring to herself as the general manager, which was contrary to the reality, while the document was validated for use after the modification.

However, the defendant counsel Lawyer Ali Al-Wawan argued that there was no proof to indict his client in the case, because she, throughout the course of investigation, had maintained that she was the bonafide general manager of the company, based on the last general assembly.
