Kuwait Club players simultaneously go for the ball during a league game.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: The 2025-2026 Premier Volleyball League resumes today with two fourth-round matches at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex.

The action gets underway at 5:00 pm with Sulaibikhat facing Qadsia, while the highlight of the round comes at 7:00 pm when defending champion Kuwait Club meets league leader Kazma.

The clash between the two title contenders is expected to attract particular attention, with both teams eager to collect three points and strengthen their positions in the race for the championship.

Kazma leads the standings with eight points and will be looking to maintain its momentum and consolidate its position at the top. Kuwait Club, meanwhile, is second with five points and will be targeting victory to close the gap and draw level with the Orange ahead of the final round of the preliminary stage.

In the other fixture, third-placed Qadsia, on four points, will be the favorite against Sulaibikhat, who has one point, given the difference in experience and resources between the teams.

However, Sulaibikhat hopes to benefit from the arrival of Omani professional Falah Salim, nicknamed "The Cuban", who joined the squad two days ago to bolster the team's strength. His possible appearance in today's match will be closely watched.

Al-Arabi occupies the bottom position with one point.

The preliminary stage is scheduled to conclude on November 5, followed by the semifinals on November 9. The top-ranked team will face the fourth-placed side, while second place will meet third. The two winners will advance to the final on November 12 to compete for the title.
