KUWAIT CITY, March 2: Many supervisors in educational districts intend to file lawsuits against the Ministry of Education as the latter decided to decrease the supervision allowance and classify their profession as part of administrative jobs, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.
Sources said the supervision allowance adopted by the ministry is KD 80 only so it deducted KD 320 from their salaries. Sources explained the previous loopholes in the Teachers Cadre Law are the main reasons behind the deduction and irregularities recorded by the State Audit Bureau. After the last amendment of the law, the supervisors are entitled to full allowance without deduction, sources added.
